Senior Spotlight

http://www.praiseacademy.com/uploads/Cassi2.jpgCassidy Dianne Williams has been a student at Praise Academy since 2011, her 6th grade year.  She is the daughter of Dodd and Dana Williams.  She has an older brother, Nick Williams, a 2015 graduate of Praise.

During Cassi’s time at Praise, she has been involved in basketball, cross country, and is very excited about the first year of soccer at Praise.  She is currently Vice President of the Student Council and Treasurer of the National Honor Society.  She is also involved with the school’s Praise Band.  Cassi enjoys yoga, and is employed at Keep It Moving Yoga & Barre.  She likes hanging out with friends and family.

Cassi feels she has had excellent teachers at Praise.  She learned a love for poetry from Mrs. Read and a ton of new words with Mrs. Vincent.  Cassi learned that she loves dissecting critters with Mrs. Square, and regardless of Mr. Mattick’s best efforts, she does not love math.  She also learned to love the Bible with Mrs. Libby and Mr. Butler.  Cassi is also enrolled with Truett-McConnell College and starting her second year of dual enrollment courses.  It has been a blessing for her to achieve academic success in a Christian environment.

She is a member of First Baptist Church of Lithia Springs and enjoyed a mission trip last summer with Costa Rica Mission Projects.  She enjoys being a part of Hands of Praise that volunteers with local nursing homes and senior centers.

Cassi is now filling out college applications and plans on attending Nursing School.

He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.  And what does the Lord require of you?  To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. (Micah 6:8)

Teacher Reflection:

I have had the pleasure of watching Cassi grow the past few years. She has truly been a joy to be acquainted with. She is very diligent and takes great pride and concern in everything she does. Cassi is a well-rounded student. She has been active in Praise Academy's worship band, dedicated to playing soccer and a strong student - and she does it all with a humble attitude. Congrats Cassi. We are proud of you!
