Loving and reaching out to others are hallmarks of the Praise Academy family. Our faith inspires a love for others. This love for people has inspired several ministry opportunities for our students. Our mission includes the expectation that we will be equipping our students to engage and transform their world for Jesus Christ.

Our desire is to make disciples of our students so they can make disciples of others. Reaching others is an act of service; therefore, the best way to be the hands and feet of Christ is to serve others.

Our High School community outreach program is called "Hands of Praise". They are actively involved in the following community ministries.

·         Sweetwater Mission, Austell, GA

·         Austell Senior Center

·         Ronald McDonald House

·         Meals on Wheels

·         Bright Star Elementary Back Pack Program, Douglas County

The student body ministers to the following organizations:

·         Warehouse of Hope

·         MUST Ministries

·         Samaritan's Purse

·         Praise Academy Family Outreach Program

·         Praise Tabernacle Food Pantry

·         Ashley’s Run

Missionary organizations:

·         Children International (PA supports two students each year by providing food,
           clothing, and a Christian education.)

·         Campus Outreach (PA supports a couple that ministers on college campuses.)

·         Reign Ministry (Student short term mission trips)

·         World Vision (PA supports families by donating goats and chickens to nourish
hungry children and families. Chickens provide eggs and goats provide milk.)

There are many other acts of ministry and service by the Praise Academy students and families.

·         Students and their families respond to many other needs that are shared through
          the school and local churches.

·         The elementary department sings at the National Day of Prayer each year in
          downtown Powder Springs.

·         Each class gives a mission offering each month for food and clothing drives,
school supply collection for needy, Christmas gifts, and for other special needs.

·         Coaches have the football teams raise funds and have a can drive to support local
          food bank ministries.
